How do I book an appointment?

Book online: choose a date, pick the services you need, enter your details and select an available time. Your appointment is added to our schedule as soon as you book.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays and holidays.

Appointment times run from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturdays.

Where is Dr. Wilburg's Medical Services located?

130–132 Parade St., Kingston, Georgetown, Guyana, in the compound of St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital.

How do I find the clinic in the St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital compound?

Go to the compound of St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital on Parade Street, Kingston. Stand opposite the pharmacy, which is next to the parking lot, and walk along the blue-painted pathway on your left. Then turn right and enter through the door marked with the DWMS sign.

Can I book an appointment for today?

Yes, if there are still open slots. Online booking only shows times that are still available, including any left today.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete any paperwork and check in. Late arrivals may have a shortened appointment or need to reschedule.

How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

Contact us by phone or WhatsApp on +592 620 9998 at least 24 hours before your appointment. Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future bookings.

Can a company book medicals for its employees?

Yes. When booking online, enter the company or employer name in the booking form so the appointment is recorded against your organization.

How much do your services cost, and how can I pay?

Start a booking online to see current prices: each service shows its price, and an estimated total appears as you select services, before you confirm anything.

Fees are always confirmed before a service is provided. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made, and we accept cash and major payment methods.

Can I use online booking for a medical emergency?

No. Our website and online booking are not for medical emergencies. If you are having an emergency, call emergency services or go to the nearest hospital immediately.

What medicals do you offer?

The medicals we offer are Agility Testing, Firearm Medical, Med Check, Med Track, OGUK/OEUK Medical, Visa Medical, Work Permit and Work Permit Inclusive.

Our occupational medicine services also include pre-employment medicals, drug and alcohol testing and spirometry testing.

Do you do OGUK/OEUK offshore medicals?

Yes. The OGUK/OEUK Medical is an offshore medical examination for OGUK/OEUK certification, booked as a 60-minute appointment.

DWMS is OGUK certified for oil and gas medical examinations, and our founder, Dr. Ayesha Wilburg, has worked offshore in the oil and gas industry.

What is included in the Work Permit Inclusive medical?

The Work Permit Inclusive medical is a 60-minute appointment that includes a Vision and Colour Test, Audiometry (Hearing) Test and Drug & Alcohol Test.

The standard Work Permit medical is a 30-minute appointment.

Do you do firearm license medicals?

Yes. The Firearm Medical is a medical examination for firearm license applications. Appointments are 30 minutes.

How do I prepare for a Med Check or Med Track?

Med Check and Med Track are 60-minute appointments with the following requirements.

A 12-hour fast is required prior to appointment time.

Blood in stool test is required - sample container can be purchased from any local pharmacy or collected from our office, with sample to be returned the following day.

Because fasting is required, book a morning slot that finishes by 11:00 AM.

Do you offer drug and alcohol testing?

Yes. We offer Breath Alcohol Testing, Drug and Alcohol Testing and Urine Drug Testing.

Which tests require fasting?

Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS), HbA1c, Lipid Profile (LP), Med Check and Med Track require fasting.

A 12-hour fast is required prior to appointment time.

Fasting appointments must finish by 11:00 AM, so online booking only offers early-morning times for them.

What lab tests do you offer?

Our laboratory tests include Beta HCG, Breath Alcohol Testing, Complete Blood Count (CBC), Dengue, Drug and Alcohol Testing, Estrogen, Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS), Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), Gram Stain, H-Pylori, HIV, HbA1c, Kidney Function Test (KFT), Lipid Profile (LP), Liver Function Test (LFT), Luteinizing Hormone (LH), Potassium, Progesterone, Prolactin, Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), Random Blood Sugar (RBS), TB (Quantiferon), Thyroid Function Test (TFT), Total Cholesterol, Troponin, Typhoid Test, Urine Analysis, Urine Drug Testing, Urine HCG and Wet Prep.

Do you offer pregnancy tests?

Yes. We offer Beta HCG and Urine HCG.

Do you do X-rays and ultrasounds?

Yes. Our imaging services are Abdominal Ultrasound, Chest X-ray, Doppler Ultrasound, Soft Tissue Ultrasound, Thyroid Ultrasound, X-ray Left Arm, X-ray Left Leg, X-ray Left Shoulder, X-ray Right Arm, X-ray Right Leg and X-ray Right Shoulder.

What other services do you offer?

We also offer Ambulance Services, Audiometry (Hearing Test), Dermatology Services, ECG, Gastroenterology Services, General Consultation, Gynaecology Consult, Medical Coverage for Seminars, Nebulization, Neurology Services, Sleep Study Test and Vision and Colour Test.

Do you provide ambulance services or medical coverage for events?

Ambulance Services: emergency and non-emergency ambulance transportation services.

Do you offer home visits?

Do you see children?

Yes. We provide medical services to patients of all ages. For patients under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to the collection and use of their personal information.

Who runs Dr. Wilburg's Medical Services?

DWMS was founded by its CEO, Dr. Ayesha Wilburg, a graduate of the University of Guyana Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Wilburg has practiced for more than 15 years in private and public hospitals in Jamaica and Guyana, and offshore in the oil and gas industry.

DWMS is a 100% women-owned Guyanese company and is indigenous owned.

Is DWMS licensed and certified?

Yes. DWMS is registered with the Guyana Medical Council, licensed by the Ministry of Health, OGUK certified for oil and gas medical examinations, and holds a Local Content Certificate of Registration (LCSR).

How is my personal information protected?

Data sent between your device and our servers is encrypted, patient records are stored securely, and only authorized healthcare professionals can view your medical information. DWMS does not sell your personal information.
